Today, located in North Taranaki, I handcraft every piece myself — sand-cast or fabricated in sterling silver with touches of gold, some adorned with semi-precious gems.

The sand-casting process begins with molten metal poured into delft clay: crisp textures, raw edges, and the organic marks of nature. From there, I hand-fabricate, adding curves, polish, and sometimes a glint of gold that catches the light like sun on water. All of my pieces are one-of-a-kind and are textured and shaped by my hands.

What Makes My Work Unique

 

While many New Zealand artists and jewellers reference nature, my work is tied directly to the geology and emotion of one place: the West Coast of Taranaki.

 

Many pieces carry the imprint of sand-casting combined with refined hand-fabrication, giving an unmistakable organic texture. I create one-offs — not limited runs — so every piece is truly unique. With silver as the foundation, gold as the accent, and gemstones as colour, the jewellery is layered, expressive and personal.
